Meaning is found in a collective semantics. The role of the graphic designer is to step back from a message to reconfigure and reorganize its meaning. This exercise challenged students to critically examine this role by deconstructing the same words that shape their reality.
Students selected and combined existing word, or word parts, to construct new words. These juxtapositions allowed the construction of new meaning, thereby implying possible future processes.
