Digital Fabrication Art
Student Work
Digital Fabrication Art is a studio course that introduces students to digital fabrication methods as tools for contemporary artmaking. In the Illuminated Box project, students design and fabricate light-emitting objects using laser-cut acrylic and wood—exploring form, light diffusion, and structural assembly. For the Trophy Monument Project, conceptual maquettes function as small-scale monuments or symbolic trophies. Each piece was designed through laser cutting and assembled to express personal, social, or political meaning.
